Geeky giddyness over an iPad 2.

It's official. I drank the Kool-Aid. I am one of Jobs' chosen people.
I picked up my new 32GB iPad 2 with Wi-Fi + 3G on Tuesday, and it's as cool as they say it is. But I probably have a warped view. I've been on Apple computers for almost 20 years, but always worked on desktop machines. Currently, it's a MacPro tower with a 2 x 2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon processor that sits on the floor under my desk. Never had a laptop, so when I needed to work, I did it right here. But now with my iPad 2, I suspect I feel the same giddy joy everyone else felt when they got their first laptop. And I found a purple case for it, so my personal branding is complete.
Now I won't need new glasses from reading those tech blogs on my iPhone before bed every night.
Go get one if you can — Much adieu, K.
