Appreciating little things in a new phase of life.

I read a quote that said ‘Being prepared for loss is never the same as being ready for it.’ After taking time off this summer to help care for my dying mom, I was prepared but no one is really ready.

I was with her when she passed away almost a month ago, and am now settling back into my business and life — working with clients I love and jumping feet first into web site design and updating.

This new phase makes me appreciate my business and gets me excited to see the list of new projects, particularly a new cloud-based presentation about the Ancora Italia web site project and some major web site updates for a long-time client.

Take a tip from Elna: appreciate the little things in life and always stop to pick the raspberries. — Much adieu, K.
